Tens of thousand of drivers were fined when TfL botched the implementation of a temporary speed limit on the A20 at the Sidcup by-pass. The inadequate signage meant many drivers thought they were driving at the correct speed limit. I am leading calls for an independent investigation into the shambles so that we can have points struck off, fines refunded and ensure this never happens again.
