Thomas at City Hall

Question to the Mayor on the 23rd May regarding public bike parking spaces. Question answered on the 29th May 2024.

Question No: 2024/1614

Question (Thomas Turrell AM) 23rd May 2024:

Of the 40,000 new public bike parking spaces promised in your manifesto, how many currently exist across London?

Answer (Sadiq Khan) 29th May 2024:

My election manifesto commitment is to install 40,000 new cycle parking spaces. Only cycle parking delivered in the 2024/25 financial year, beginning in April 2024, will be counted towards this target, but this number will only be known next financial year (likely in summer 2025) when London boroughs will report on delivery in the previous year.
