The Integrated Water Management Strategies (IWMS) programme is underway. Since August 2024, the Technical Advisory Panel and Water Research Centre Limited have been appointed to support the delivery of the London-wide IWMS investigations. Findings are expected to be published by the end of 2025.

In DD2727, there was a commitment to appoint a Technical Advisory Panel in 'Winter 2024'. Has the panel been established and when will outcomes be published?
Answer (Sir Sadiq Khan | Mayor of London): 25th March 2025
The Technical Advisory Panel was appointed in September 2024. The panel provides technical scrutiny and challenge to maximise the value of the IWMS investigation for Londoners. The panel consists of three members providing technical expertise in water resources, wastewater, drainage, water quality and regulation. A summary of the panel’s input will be included in the London-wide IWMS investigation report which is expected to published by the end of 2025.
