Question No: 2025/0545

Question: Thomas Turrell (Bexley and Bromley) - 25th February 2025

Broken down by year and borough, how much money has TfL given boroughs via LIP Funding to spend on LTNs since 2016?

Answer: Sir Sadiq Khan (Mayor of London) -  28th February 2025

Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs) is one of the terms used for a traffic management scheme, and schemes of this nature can also be described and categorised in different ways.

The scale of these schemes, and the variety of restrictions used to implement them, vary extensively. There is no uniform definition of what constitutes an LTN, so unfortunately Transport for London is not able to provide a breakdown of how much funding has been given to each borough to implement them.
