Parking on Police Owned Access Road in Bromley

Question No: 2025/0134

Question: Thomas Turrell AM (Bexley and Bromley) - 18th January 2025

On what date were notices published warning users of the road that enforcement would begin and did this include a date when enforcement would begin?

Answer: Sir Sadiq Khan (Mayor of London):  28th January 2025

In addition to the double yellow lines, there was signage in place for over six years clearly advising motorists that parking is not permitted on the access road. Additional new signage was installed on 18th October 2024 along with the installation of ANPR cameras, providing motorists notification of the intention to enforce the restrictions from that date.
