Thomas has completed the national three peaks challenge, raising over £1000 for environmental charities supported by the EQ Foundation.

He was part of a team of twelve, completing the challenge with colleagues from his former employer. The team did all three peaks in approximately 36 hours.

The national three peaks challenge is an attempt to complete the highest mountain in each country of mainland Britian – Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) in Wales. Many attempt to do all three within twenty-four hours.

The team were raising money for the EQ Foundation which is an umbrella charity who distribute their money to smaller charities. In this case twelve environment charities will receive a share of the nearly £1,400 raised.
