Thomas will support job creation and opportunities across our two boroughs. The best way to achieve this is through growing our local economies and supporting our incredible small businesses, shops and traders.
His dad did his apprenticeship in Bexleyheath, learning to become a mechanic. Thomas started his own career in Financial Services in Beckenham. Change in work patterns have affected the economies in Outer London, with some companies closing officers in places like Bexley and Bromley. The night time economy has had a particularly slow recovery since the pandemic.
Thomas will work with businesses, Councils and our MPs to ensure the local economy is resilient and continues to offer a diverse range of opportunities for local people.
