Three new Vehicle-Activated Warning Signs (VAS) are set to be installed on Hayes roads after funding was agreed by the Council’s Environment Committee. The signs were included in the proposals following a request from Councillor Thomas Turrell.
Councillor Thomas Turrell has welcomed over news that Hayes Primary School and Wickham Common Primary School are to receive a share of £450 million in extra funding from the Conservative Government to upgrade school buildings. In addition to the Schools in Hayes & Coney Hall schools in West Wickham; Oak Lodge Primary School and Glebe School are also set to benefit from the fund.
