Conservative-run Bromley Council is investing £50,000 to improve five shopping parades across the borough. Each parade will receive up to to £10,000 for improvements which include village signs, community notice boards, planters and benches.
Along with my fellow ward councillors and Bob Stewart MP, I am calling on the Deputy Mayor of London (Police & Crime) to fund a new Police vehicle for the Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNTs) in the Wards of Hayes & Coney and West Wickham Wards to use jointly.
I am part of a campaign trying to save the Cannon Street Services on the Hayes Line. Southeastern Railways announced in September that the service would be removed from December.
